For the Bible Tells Me So is a little booklet that came out of a workshop Katie has been teaching for years. Part one: the tiny set of scriptures that could be construed as prohibitive to LGBTQ+ “lifestyles.” (They’re not; here’s why.) Part two: why it kind of wouldn’t matter even if they were, because we don’t use the Bible that way. (Here’s why.)

Family of Origin, Family of Choice is a book Katie co-wrote with co-conspirator and social scientist Susan Chiasson on how LGBTQ+ people maintain (or don’t) relationships with their FOO. It’s descriptive, not prescriptive. And, there’s lots of wisdom here. And stories. Our stories.
