Sprinkled, Dabbed, Dunked, 3/6: The Call of God is Totalizing

We lit candles for the things we've renounced (or need to renounce) in order to be with Jesus. And we floated them on the waters of the baptistery.

Nets, boats, dads, stability, certainty, comfort... What does the baptized life call us to renounce? How lightly do we hold the people and stuff (not the same things, we know) that are dear to us? Does God reign, and does it matter?
