Galileo Church

We seek and shelter spiritual refugees, rally health for all who come, and fortify every tender soul with the strength to follow Jesus into a life of world-changing service.

OUR MISSIONAL PRIORITIES:

1. We do justice for LGBTQ+ humans, and support the people who love them.

2. We do kindness for people with mental illness and in emotional distress, and celebrate neurodiversity.

3. We do beauty for our God-Who-Is-Beautiful.

4. We do real relationship, no bullshit, ever.

5. We do whatever it takes to share this good news with the world God still loves.

Living the resurrection in the 21st century

This is Rev. Katie's #lasttime for a little while, because she's going to write a book! Thanks be to God. She tells Rev. Irie's story, and encourages us to please keep listening over the next few weeks, while the Holy Spirit continues to work through this ministry. She'll wanna hear about it later. Don't miss out!

Irie's #firsttime for her interim ministry with us. So, so exciting. You don't wanna miss this sermon on living the Resurrection as a Village, and being what all of our Village citizens need us to be. Even when they are black and need directions to school.

What does telling your truth look like in the 21st Century? Hm..

Living the Resurrection means freedom from silence…even when it makes Paul the Apostle “mad as hell.”

When we've been with Jesus, we learn things we didn't know before. We're open to revelations about who is "in," even when we thought they were surely "out." Who would Jesus love?

We're blushing because Irie said she's learning from us. :-) Here's her take on our fourth missional priority: Real Relationship, No Bullshit Ever. How did Paul and Barnabas do it?
