Galileo Church

Quirky church for spiritual refugees. Who would Jesus love?

Our missional priorities:
1. We do justice for LGBTQ+ humans, and support the people who love them.
2. We do kindness for people with mental illness and in emotional distress, and celebrate neurodiversity.
3. We do beauty for our God-Who-Is-Beautiful.
4. We do real relationship, no bullshit, ever.
5. We do whatever it takes to share this good news with the world God still loves.

What Did You Bring Me, Jesus?: 2/5

The second gift Jesus gives us is Peace. He’s a lot more peaceful than the scary John the Baptist guy, whom our Lead Evangelist wants to grab a beer with. “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?!” How’s that for a Christmas card?

Katie’s back! And she’s finishing up the series Irie started, with our last resistance figure from the Bible: Jesus! (Of course.) The Beatitudes. They resist just about everything, don’t they?

In our ongoing series about people from the Bible who resisted, today we learn about Jael and the tent peg. Have you heard that one before? You don’t wanna miss it.
