Jesus Brings the Thunder: Stories From the Middle of Luke's Gospel: 1/7
We’re beginning a new series! For the first several weeks after Pentecost, we’ll remember Jesus at his badass best. These stories from the middle of Luke’s gospel span the range of his astonishing power – to heal, exorcise, raise the dead, calm the sea, and put people in their place with only his razor-sharp rhetoric. Bring it, Jesus. Tonight, we examine Jesus’ encounters with two people on opposite ends of the privilege spectrum: a Roman centurion, and a widowed woman from Nain.
